Green Card Medical
When you apply for a green card through the lottery, then it is important that you know a few things about the medical system in the United States. While the United States has one of the best medical programs in the world, there are still things for which you will have to pay for and be insured against. And for this it is recommended that you be wary of the implications of signing up with any of the known insurance companies, and especially the small medical insurance companies.
Not that we are saying that they are dishonest, but it helps if you have a lawyer on your side to check and sign the papers and documents with you, and to explain all the ins and outs. The American Government may give you a green card, but it cannot make choices for you and protect yourself and your family. Once you get your green card, even before you arrive on the shores of this country, you should make preparations in advance so that you medical issue is clarified and that you have adequate insurance for yourself and for the other members of your family. And if you need any medication, take a large supply, since with all the moving and packing, you will need it so as to anticipate any delays.
